Crooked Run Brewing started in 2013 as a nanobrewery in a tiny 600 square foot space in downtown Leesburg.  A much larger brewery and tasting room was completed in 2017 in an office/warehouse park, and now a third expansion has just opened in the space adjacent to the Sterling brewery.

O’Neil Architects worked closely with the brewery and restaurant owners to develop the design of the new space, which features additional seating,  food and beverage choices, event stage with lighting, and restrooms along with a large open storage area in the rear area for kegs, cans, brewery equipment and room for future brewery expansion.  A storage mezzanine sits over top of the bar and cooler area and overlooks the new seating area.  The new space features exposed steel framing and painted steel cargo container panels to create the feel of a hard-working industrial space that still retains the fun and funkiness of the original tasting rooms.

The expansion will allow the brewery to offer a broader range of food and drinks to the local office workers and Loudoun residents that stop in for lunch or post-work drinks with friends.
