Located on a horse farm and set in the rolling hills just west of Middleburg, Virginia, Lost Barrel Brewing showcases the brewery process for its customers while also providing a beautiful country setting to enjoy a beer tasting and great food.
The brewery wing of the building projects forward from the main entrance and welcomes visitors as they approach from the parking lot. Large windows line a covered entrance walkway and provide a view of all the fermentation tanks and brewery equipment.
The tasting room wraps around the end of the brewery wing, with the L-shaped serving bar and beer taps enclosing a large walk-in keg refrigerator that links directly to the brewery. The two long sides of the tasting room are lined with French doors and roll-up doors that open out to a covered terrace and a lawn space overlooking pastures, stacked stone walls and the hills beyond.
