This project completely transformed a 1970’s one story modular ranch style house into a two-story Craftsman style house that fits right into the historic district neighborhood in Herndon, Virginia.  The design features an entirely new two car garage and home office connected to the main house through the new main entry foyer with a built in bench, shoe cubby and open stairway.  The first floor of the original house was completely remodeled to include a large great room/kitchen area in the rear and a guest room and living room in the front. The second floor includes a master suite, laundry room, three bedrooms and two baths.
